Looking to upgrade to an organic latex mattress? The Sales Tax Holiday in Massachusetts is the perfect time to do it!
The annual Sales Tax Holiday in Massachusetts is a much-anticipated event for shoppers across the Commonwealth. This year, the sales tax holiday will be on August 13 and August 14, 2022. The Massachusetts sales tax holiday begins at 12 a.m. Saturday, making this a great weekend to buy a Spindle if you've been wanting to upgrade your mattress.
Yes, this includes items purchased over the internet. So if you purchase a mattress from Spindle and pay for an eligible item over the internet on the sales tax holiday between 12 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, Eastern Daylight Time, that item will qualify for the sales tax holiday exemption. No sales tax is due on that purchase, even if delivery of the item occurs after the sales tax holiday weekend.
The answer is yes! Any mattress that you purchase from Spindle will be eligible for the sales tax holiday exemption.
Here's what you need to know: as long as the price of each individual item is $2,500 or less, you can purchase as many items as you want together, tax-free, even if all the items added together cost more than $2,500. So if you're planning on doing some major shopping this sales tax holiday weekend, don't worry - you can still take advantage of the tax break, even if you're buying multiple items. Just make sure that each individual item is $2,500 or less, and you'll be all set.
If you're not in the market for a new mattress, this is still a great weekend to save on other big-ticket items. So if you've been eyeing a new television or piece of furniture, this is the time to buy. Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity on August 13 and 14, 2022!

We don't collect sales tax on purchases from any state other than Illinois or Massachusetts.
Why? We don't have economic nexus in other states, which means we don't have a significant enough presence in those states to be required to collect sales tax. Despite the fact that Spindle doesn't collect sales tax on a purchase, you may still be required to pay sales to the state. As a result, it's always best to check with your state's tax authorities or a certified accountant before making a purchase.
